We must invest in Missouri farmers and their families.
Our farmers provide products for the entire world, and bring in revenue to support our state. The Treasurer’s office should work to invest in these farmers by giving them the capital and resources they need to continue their work.
As part of the Linked Deposit Program, I would work to expand the investments made for our farmers by 10 million dollars, therefore giving more capital to our farmers and agricultural community.
Additionally, I will adopt a hands on approach to interacting with our local farmers and listening to their needs as an industry. By establishing a meaningful dialogue between my office and our farming communities, I will be able to strengthen our farming industry and keep farms open for business.
